THESE ARE THE FACTS
Politicians continue to cut programs and balance budgets on the backs of the middle class while corporations get tax breaks and giveaways.
From 2009 to 2010, real GDP grew by 3%, while corporate profits increased by over 32%. For the same period the median wage for full time workers rose barely more than 1%.
Rich corporations continue to enjoy privileges at the expense of middle class families, thousands of small and independently owned businesses, and a long and painful list of vital public services upon which our long-term recovery depends.
THIS IS WRONG
We need a balanced approach to solving our budget problems that will generate revenue by closing corporate tax loopholes.

The Fair Economy Act, along with other similar bills, aims to start making wealthy corporations pay their fair share so we can balance Florida’s budget responsibly. The Act would raise more than $500 million annually benefiting public welfare programs while making our tax system more just and fair for middle class Floridians. click here for more information
