I am originally a native of Toledo, Ohio. My association with the labor movement started in 1972, when I became a member of local UAW 1058. At that time I was working at the paint line at an auto parts plant. I joined FPSU in 2009 as the Chief of Staff. I am married to Chris Allamanno and have three children, Charlie, JJ, and Ian.

I am the Deputy Chief of Staff at FPSU where I am responsible for negotiating collective bargaining agreements as well as researching, and representing workers in disciplinary cases. In the past, I have worked as Research Analyst at FPSU and as an Organizer at SEIU Local 5 AZ.

I am a Florida native, born and raised in Delray Beach. I have earned undergraduate and Masters Degree in Political Science at Florida State University. I have worked in the Florida House of Representatives’ Minority Office and as Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Evan Jenne (House District 100). I enjoy exploring Florida’s politically and naturally diverse environment.

My career in rights-based movement started 15 years ago when I joined the international development sector. Prior to that I was working as a journalist and a teacher. I have a Masters degree in Mass Communications with the focus on Development Support Communications. I joined FPSU in 2011 as State Director for the Fair Economy Campaign. Currently I am working as Communications Director. I am married and live in West Palm Beach.

I am originally from Haiti and moved to United States in the 90s. Now, I live in Broward. I joined SEIU in 2005 as an Organizer. I started working with FPSU in 2010 and in 2011 I joined the Palm Beach team as an Organizer. I have a passion for the theater and films. I got my Bachelors in Film and TV Production from New York University (NYU). I am also a proud owner of my business Aries Vision, a multi-media company.

I am originally from the Dominican Republic and moved to United States in the 80s. I have started my career as a nursing home bus driver in Bronx, New York. Later, I became a shop steward for my union 1199. I joined FPSU in 2010 as an organizer for Palm Beach County. I have actively developed Latino Caucus for the union. I am married with two beautiful daughters.

I joined the union in 1990 while working as a Custodian at Pinellas County Schools. I became a steward in 1991, and over the years became Chief Steward. later, I was also elected to the E-board. In 2003 I went to work full time for SEIU and AFSCME. I came to work for FPSU in October 2009. I am currently working as Lead Organizer for West Coast in St. Pete Office.

I worked for 20+ years for non profit organizations where I used my skills & abilities to helping others. I started working as an Organizer with SEIU-FPSU in 2007. I represent worker of City of St. Pete., CDI and Manatee Head Start programs. I am very active in the Tampa Bay and St. Pete community. I serve on the Children Board of Tampa. I am also a member and Secretary of Operation Rainbow Push Coalition of Florida, NAACP of Tampa, and the CDC of Tampa.

I have worked in the labor movement as an Organizer since 1997. I have worked as international staff with SEIU in the healthcare, long term care and public employee divisions as a Senior Organizer. I began working with FPSU in 2010. The main focus of my work here is leading the external organizing campaigns. I am also responsible for some representational work and negotiations. I work primarily out of the St. Pete. office as part of the West Coast Team.

My professional background is in Graphic Design and Applied Anthropology. I have been leading organizing for the participatory budgeting campaign in St Petersburg known as the People’s Budget Review, a project in which FPSU has been a key partner. I have worked to bridge the divide between the union and the community by involving neighborhood associations, business groups, activists, and leaders in the faith community in numerous actions and campaigns in the Tampa Bay area. At the end of the day, Dietrich says, “It is my job to make sure that our union exists outside of the workplace. It must be deeply rooted in the community to be effective for our workers and our mission.”

I moved to Clermont, Florida in 1989 and became a School Bus Driver for Lake County School District. I got involved with SEIU in 1995 during an organizing campaign. I became a steward in the Transportation Department and in 2000 became the chief steward. I was also a part of the bargaining and Labor Management Team. In 2006, I left my job as a bus driver and joined FPSU as an Organizer for the Lake County School employees. I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my beautiful family.

I was introduced to SEIU back in 2003 while working as 911 Operator/Dispatcher in Orlando Police Department. I was the second person to sign the union membership card. Seeing this challenge I agreed to work as member organizer. I signed up approximately 70% of my co-workers. I officially retired from the police department with 21 years of service in 2006. Later, I worked as Provisional Secretary Treasurer for the Local. I became an Organizer with FPSU in 2009. I work from Orlando office.

Originally from Oklahoma moved to Florida in 1982 to attend University of Central Florida. I am currently working as the Operations Manager in SEIU-FPSU. I have over 20 years experience working in a financial capacity with corporate and non-profit companies. I am happily married with 3 beautiful children.

I am originally from California, but have resided in Florida long enough to be considered a native. My industry background extends from Healthcare to Global Consulting. I enjoy volunteering for non-profit organizations such as the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, HEP (Homeless Emergency Project) and the SPCA.

I am the Data Coordinator for SEIU-FPSU where my duties are database maintenance and managing the front desk at Orlando office. Prior to working for SEIU, I worked for the Orange County Library system as a Reference Clerk. I moved to Florida from Washington State in 1998. I received my High School Diploma from Auburn Academy. I plan to continue my formal education.
