We Have a Tentative Agreement!
Dear Boca Raton Members,
When workers stand together, we win.
Because of your unity, your participation, and your willingness to fight for a fair contract, we are excited to announce that your Union has reached a Tentative Agreement with the City of Boca Raton.
This 2-year agreement is the direct result of members speaking up, standing together, and refusing to settle for less than what Boca Raton City workers deserve.
Together, we secured major victories, including:
Year 1
Salary Increase + Retro
- 3% retroactive pay increase from October 1, 2025 to January 4, 2026
- Additional compensation-study salary increase, retroactive from January 5, 2026 until the date of ratification
Lump Sum
- $3,500 or 3% of base wages — whichever is greater
Year 2
Salary Increase
- Minimum 3.6% increase, tied to CPI for the Tri-County area (West Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami)
Additional Contract Wins
- 15% increase for incentives (shows, tools, sunglasses, and more)
Every one of these gains happened because workers stood together. This contract is proof that solidarity works.

Do You Have What It Takes to Be a Union Steward?
Union members are the foundation of a strong and powerful labor movement. As attacks on unions grow in Florida, workers are standing together to ensure fair and equal treatment for all.
A strong union means solidarity, leadership, and collective action. To keep our workplaces protected and our rights secure, we need dedicated members to step up as Union Stewards—the frontline leaders who ensure workers are informed, empowered, and supported.
Members are organizing to train and develop new Union Stewards who will help build power in the workplace. All current members are encouraged to attend Union Steward training, and those interested in taking on a leadership role should connect with a current Steward or Union Organizer.
A strong union starts with you—stand up, get involved, and help shape the future of our movement!
