2022 Bargaining and Ratification Vote Update
SEIU agreement passed today by a 178 Yes, 14 No margin. (92.7%)
“After 6 months of negotiations, the SEIU-Florida Public Services Union bargaining committee and the City of Boca Raton administration have reached tentative agreement on a new 3-year contract that provides for annual increases in each of the next three years of no less than 3.75%, determined by years of full time service to the City as well as a one time payment in year one of the agreement of no less than $3000. In addition, to increase the pension Plan C multiple from 1.75% to 2.0% and apply the increase retroactively for all years of service. Furthermore, the Juneteenth holiday will now be observed by SEIU-bargaining unit members as the 14th paid holiday. See the total changes here. (SEIU-Boca Raton TA 2022)
