SEIU Victory! Tentative Agreement Ratified

After eight long months of determined bargaining between SEIU and the City of Riviera Beach, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve reached a Tentative Agreement for all SEIU-represented City employees!

Highlights of the Agreement:

• 15% Base Wage Increase for all bargaining unit members!
• New Minimum Starting Pay Rate: $21.63 per hour.
• Additional 8 Hours of PTO for employees with 9+ years of service.
• Safety Shoes Allotment Increase: From $175 to $250.
• Fleet Tool Allowance: $1,000.
• Certification Pay: Now built into your base salary.
• Court Pay: A new Article 36 guarantees court pay for SEIU personnel.
