This was a very difficult year, trying to work with the state mandate of $15.00 an hour. The state only funded the $15.00 and this mandate created many problems with our pay scale that the district couldn’t afford to fix, such as supervisor positions and higher paid skill positions. Your bargaining team worked very hard trying to do what was best for all employees. After looking at many different pay scales we agreed to increase our current pay scale by 6%. We haven’t seen a 6% raise in many years.
Union has came to a tentative agreement with the district. Here is the agreement for review. This is pending a ratification vote by the bargaining unit and approval by the School Board.
If you look at the current scale, find your pay then go to the same index on the new scale that will be your new pay. Also attached is the critical shortage agreement, data clerks will be added to this. Other agreements attached are, changes in vacation and MOUs for transportation.
