Why endorsements matter

The people we elect decide what happens to our hospitals, our schools, our transit, and our paychecks. General races, especially local ones, are often decided by a few hundred votes. Your vote down the ballot carries real weight.

Find your races below. Not sure which districts you live in? Your sample ballot from your county Supervisor of Elections lists every race you’ll see.

Make your plan to vote

OCT 22 Vote by mail. Request your mail ballot from your county Supervisor of Elections by 5 p.m. Then return it so it’s received by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
OCT 24–31 Vote early. Early voting runs at least these dates in every Florida county; many counties open earlier or stay open longer. Check your county’s sites and hours.
NOV 3 Election Day. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Vote at your assigned precinct and bring a photo ID with your signature.
Don’t stop at the candidates. Amendment 3 is on every Florida ballot — and it would cut $11.86 billion a year from the local budgets that fund our services. Flip your ballot over and vote NO on 3.
