Manatee County Head Start faces the same financial challenges as our sister Head Start units in Florida. That doesn’t dampen our commitment to the community’s youth though. Since organizing ourselves with SEIU we’ve gained a voice at work and we’re constantly striving to make things better for our students, ourselves and our families.
