But for too long big developers, corporate landlords, property insurance companies, and real estate special interest groups have rigged the rules to hoard ever more profits for themselves, by raising the rent, spiking property insurance rates while denying coverage to the most vulnerable, and making it impossible for many of us to afford and stay in the homes we love. To distract us from their profiteering, these corporate and predatory landlords try to divide us and have put more than 90 million dollars in the pocket of Desantis and other republicans.
When we vote together we can ensure our communities have affordable housing, stabilized rent, accountability of property insurance companies & politicians. We can start to make sure that everyone has a place to call home, no exceptions.
Our endorsed candidates will restore housing funding that politicians took from the people of Florida and invest it in homeownership, affordable rental units, climate resiliency, lower property insurance rates and energy efficiency.
